GREENSBORO - Thirty-one faculty and staff members with a combined total of 843 years of service to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University are retiring from the university. They were honored at a banquet on May 29.

They are:

• Leon Warren, associate vice chancellor of Career Services, Division of Student Affairs, 39 years.
  
• Dr. Aurelia C. Mazyck, associate professor, School of Education, 36 years.
  
• Lauretta G. Havner, library assistant, Division of Academic Affairs, 34 years.
  
• Victor B. Karabin, instructor, School of Education, 34 years.
  
• Jannette M. Suggs, administrative secretary, School of Business and Economics, 33 years.
  
• Marva Watlington, coordinator of Student Activities, Division of Student
  Affairs, 33 years.
  
• Russell Rankin Jr., assistant professor, School of Technology, 32 years.
  
• Alicia E. Devane, university residence administrator, Division of Student
  Affairs, 32 years.
  
• Gwendolyn Strayhorn, processing assistant, Division of Business and Finance, 31 years.
