A&T'S FALL ORIENTATION SETS RECORD

GREENSBORO - More than 2,000 students participated in North Carolina A&T State University's Summer 2002 New Student Orientation Sessions. This was
a record for the institution. The sessions were held June 13-14, June 18-19 and June 25-26 for incoming freshmen and new transfer students.

"I was pleased with our summer orientation sessions," said Denise Iverson-Paine, director of Orientation, First Year Experience and Parent Programs and executive assistant to the vice chancellor for student affairs.

"We received a lot of positive feedback from our parents. Information from our university administrators and staff proved to be very valuable and helpful."

For the students who were unable to attend a summer orientation session, a fall orientation session will be held Sunday, August 11.
