A&T Students Participate in Transportation Forum

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Five  transportation majors at  North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University recently  participated in Operation Stimulus 2003, Colorado’s 22nd Annual Transportation Forum.

The students, who are members of the university’s Transportation Club, placed second in their division and fourth out of the 12 universities that competed in the competition.  They  are Michael D. Lindsay, Roselyn Pinnix, Jacinta Simmons, Calebe Herring and Sheron Byrd.

The forum, titled  “Global Technology And Its Impact on Logistics,”  addressed various transportation matters including safety, security, tracking and logistics.  The principal corporate sponsors were Danzas AEI International , FedEx,  BNSF (Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway)  and Houg Enterprises.
