Leonora C. Bryant has been appointed director of alumni affairs at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Bryant has served as interim director of the office since July 2007.

"Mrs. Bryant will serve as chief liaison with the Alumni Association and will carry out the duties and responsibilities of serving to strengthen the bonds of loyalty and enthusiasm between the University and its alumni," said Tim Minor, associate vice chancellor for development.

Bryant has been employed at N.C. A&T for more than 25 years. She has served in several capacities including special assistant to the vice chancellor for development and university relations and administrative coordinator for the Office of the Chancellor.

Bryant is affiliated with numerous organizations including the American Management Association, Beta Gamma Sigma, Golden Key Honor Society, CASE, Democratic Women and the Gate City Alumni Chapter. In addition, she is a volunteer for the Guilford County Board of Elections and an active member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Bryant received her B.S. degree in management and her MSM degree in information systems from A&T.
