Teresa Jo Styles, a professor in the department of journalism and mass communication at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, presented a paper titled, “Media Executives Assessment of the Changing World,” at the 8th World Media Economics and Management Conference held in Lisbon Portugal May 21-24.

The World Media Economics and Management Conference brings together scholars worldwide to reflect on contemporary issues in the economics and management of media industries and companies. Established in 1994, the conference is held every two years. Previous meetings have been held in Stockholm (Sweden), Zurich (Switzerland), London (England), Pamplona (Spain), Turku (Finland), Montreal (Canada), and Beijing (China).
