Dr. Antoine Alston, associate professor and coordinator of the Agricultural Education Program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, is the recipient of an HP Technology for Teaching Grant worth $77,000 from computer maker Hewlett-Packard.

The grant includes $20,000 in cash and $57,000 worth of computers and equipment that will be used to improve courses in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology and environmental sciences in the School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
