Dr. Olen Cole, Jr., professor and chairperson of the department of history at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, recently presented at the Greenbelt Museum, in Maryland.

Cole discussed his book, "The African American Experience in the Civilian Conservation Corps." The Greenbelt Museum sponsors a bimonthly lecture series. Topics focused on the period of the Great Depression to World War II and dealt with racism, history, material culture, social studies, and art history.
