MINOR GRADUATES WITH ALL A’S
Christina Yourse Minor

Christina Yourse Minor graduated from North Carolina A&T at the top of her class with a perfect grade point average. The scholar was recognized at the university’s Annual Spring Commencement on May 10, at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Minor, 22, is a native of Alpharetta, Ga. She graduated from N.C. A&T with a double major, a B.S. degree in business administration with a concentration in international business and a B.A. degree in Romance Languages and Literature and French. While enrolled at the university, Minor studied abroad at the University of Nantes in Nantes France; and the University of Nancy and the ICN School of Management in Nancy, France.

“When I arrived at North Carolina A&T State University, my dream was to leave the institution with a diploma in management and French while having the highest grade point average at the university,” Minor said. “This celebration of success is not just the result of my personal efforts but also that of God and of my loved ones.”

The high achiever was a member of numerous honor societies including Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society, Pi Delta Phi French Honor Society, Golden Key International Honour Society, Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society, Alpha Chi Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the university’s honors program.

She was also a member of Henry Frye Pre-Law Club, Aggie Elite, Georgia Aggies and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She was very active in the Greensboro community, serving as a volunteer for the Precious Pearls Mentoring Program at Smith High School, A-Phi-Y Mentoring Program at Hayes Taylor YMCA, Urban Ministry, and Habitat for Humanity, Beloved Community Center and Pleasant Garden Elementary School.

Minor is the daughter of Andriette Bernadine Yourse Minor and the late Warren Douglas Minor.
