Dr. Cindy Waters, adjunct associate professor in the mechanical engineering department at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, has been elected as Secretary of the SE American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) Division of Research, the position will cycle into the Chair position. She also serves as the College of Engineering Liaison to the national organization.

Waters was elected to the position while attending the organization's conference titled "Building Bridges: Making the Connections that Facilitate Engineering Education". A&T student Greg Jones also attended the conference where he competed in the student design poster competition. His poster was titled "Design of Experiments in the Motorsports Industry."
