Mary Wall, clinical instructor at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University's School of Nursing, was selected as North Carolina Nurses’ Association (NCNA) Educator of the Year.

• N.C. A&T School of Nursing Assistant Professor Wanda Williamson is the President of District 8, North Carolina Nurses Association.
• Two School of Nursing faculty members, Drs. Von B. Whitaker and Sandra Blackstock, was selected for Great 100.
  
• Clinical Associate Professor Cathy Badgett is the scholarship chair for Southeast Region of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.
  
• Dr. Patricia Price Lea made one NLNAC Accreditation visit for National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Lea is a member of the National Strategy Alliance for NCLEX Success advisory board
  
• LaToya Rogers selected for test plan reviewer for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).
  
• Dr. Patricia Shelton, assistant dean and associate professor, was the keynote speaker for the 1st Annual Men’s Health Conference (AHEC) and the on Disparities in Men’s Health.
