Chancellor Stanley F. Battle and first lady, Judith Battle

It's that time of year again when parents and Aggie enthusiasts will get out of bed early on a Saturday morning for North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University's Homecoming Parade.

Chancellor Stanley F. Battle and first lady, Judith Battle, will participate in the festivities for their very first time as the Homecoming Parade's grand marshals, Saturday, Oct. 27, 8 a.m. The parade route begins on Murrow Blvd. and Lee Street and will end at Aggie Stadium on Lindsay and Sullivan streets.

"This year's parade is set to be a star-studded event. With over 150 entries, the display of colors and talent will be overwhelming for the entire community," said Taryn J. Mitchell of the Student Development Office. "From students to alumni, restaurants to political candidates, everyone is enlisted to truly make this the greatest homecoming on earth, with a festive parade kicking it off."
