A&T ALUMNI ASSOCIATION TO SPONSOR AFFIRMATION SERVICE

The North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association Inc. will sponsor its inaugural affirmation service. The service will be held 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at McNair Auditorium.
The Association has adopted the theme “We Believe” for this fiscal year.

“In 1891, the founders of North Carolina A&T State University believed in an educational vision and in 2007, we believe in N.C. A&T still,” said Pamela L. Johnson, president of N.C. A&T Alumni Association Inc. “Please join the Association as we publicly recognize that without the university, we would not be alumni; without the students, we would not have a reason to support; and without the Greensboro community we would not have a reason to believe and give back. Your presence is graciously requested as the Alumni join hands in solidarity with the students, university and community to strongly affirm our belief in the university.”

A&T Chancellor Stanley F. Battle will bring the University Affirmation Message and David Street, Student Government Association President, will bring the Affirmation Litany. After the Affirmation Service, the Association will, hand and hand, join the students to clean the grounds of the University.
