Michele Levy a professor in the English department at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University has contributed to the Encyclopedia of Literary Biographies/ Eastern Europe (Grolier). Her two lengthy pieces (78 pages) are on contemporary Albanian writers Ismail Kadare and Luljeta Llesshanaku. 

In addition, Levy refereed an article on Ismail Kadare for the Publications of the Modern Language Association.
