Karen L. Hornsby, an assistant professor in the department of history at
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, presented a paper at
the 16th Biennial International Workshop/ Conference in Teaching Philosophy held
in Washington, Pa. The paper was titled: “Assessing Moral Reasoning Development
Through Engaged Teaching and Learning Practices.”
She also attended the Carnegie Scholars Residency which is the Carnegie
Foundation for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. This event was held in
Palo Alto, CA, from June 16 – 25. Hornsby also attended the 3rd annual
Innovations in Instruction Conference at Elon University.
