A&T STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS

Four students in the architectural and civil engineering programs from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University recently received scholarships from Carolinas Ready Mixed Concrete Association (CRMCA). The scholarships in the amount of $500 were given to Jennifer Lynne Duncan, Keya D. King, Karmen Marcia Bryant and George J. Wilkerson. In addition, CRMCA donated $1,000 to the Center of Composite Materials Research (CCMR) to support concrete research.

For the last four years CRMCA has supported the civil and architectural engineering programs by providing field and plant tours, class room presentations by practicing engineers, concrete literature and software research. CRMCA is a nonprofit organization established in 1951 by large and small ready mixed concrete producers and associated members who supply materials, equipment and services to the industry in North and South Carolina.
