A&T ADMINISTRATORS PRESENT PAPER AT ECOLOGICAL MEETING

Two administrators at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University presented a paper at the 91st Ecological Society of America (ESA) Annual Meeting in Memphis, Tenn. on August 6-11, 2006. The co-authors were Drs. Kenneth Murray, associate vice chancellor for academic affairs and Godfrey Uzochukwu, director of the Interdisciplinary Waste Management Institute.

The paper was titled "A Model Interdisciplinary Waste Management Capstone Seminar.” Ecological and waste management ideas from different disciplines were presented in an integrated manner at the meeting. The interdisciplinary waste management capstone seminar is a requirement to receive the waste management certificate at N.C. A&T. Uzochukwu was also a mentor and presided at the meeting.
