Dr. Paul Stanfield has been named chair of the industrial and systems
engineering department at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State
University.
An associate professor in the department, Stanfield has served in several other
positions including assistant professor and adjunct assistant professor. He is
an adjunct assistant professor in the industrial engineering department at North
Carolina State University.
Prior to coming to A&T, Stanfield was president, general manager of ABCO
Automation. He has served as a consultant for numerous companies including
Becton Dickinson, BellSouth, Coca-Cola, Philip Morris, Lorillard, Miller
Brewing, R.J. Reynolds and Sara Lee.
Stanfield received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from North
Carolina State University. He also has a MBA from the University of North
Carolina at Greensboro.
