     A&T PROFESSOR PRESENTS AT HBCU'S DEANS MEETING

GREENSBORO, NC - Dr. Miriam Wagner, an associate professor and director of the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, was a presenter at the fifth annual Advanced Placement HBCU Dean's Meeting. The meeting was sponsored by The College Board's Advanced Placement Program and held at the board's headquarters in New York.

Wagner's topic was "Increasing Access and Equity: A Training Session for Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement Institutes."

Dr. Leila Vickers, dean of the School of Education, also attended the meeting.
