A&T RICHARD B. HARRISON PLAYERS TO PRESENT PRODUCTION

GREENSBORO, NC  - The National award-winning Richard B. Harrison Players of North Carolina A&T State University will present "Stories About the Old Days" by Bill Harris. This often times funny yet dramatic play was presented in June as a benefit performance for the Donald Eugene Coffey Scholarship and is back by popular demand for only two encore performances. This comic drama takes place in a decaying church in Detroit. Clayborn a former blues singer living in the decaying church never ventures out into the world that rejected him. While playing checkers he and Ivy, one of the last members of the congregation, move from animosity to friendship. The play stars Tennille Foust, 1999 A&T theatre graduate and Eric McBroom, senior theatre major.

The proceeds from these two performances will go towards A & T Theatre student scholarships. Frankie Day Greenlee, associate professor of Theatre and academic program chair will direct the production.
