A&T Names McNally Sports Information Director
Greensboro, N.C. – Jim McNally has
been named the new sports information director for North Carolina Agricultural
and
Technical State University. McNally comes to A&T from the Carolina Peacemaker,
where he worked as a staff writer and
was a former news editor.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa., McNally has
written for newspapers in Siler City and Madison and freelanced at ESP Magazine
and Triad Style. In 2000, he worked briefly as the media relations director for
Project Homestead. McNally also taught English
at Thomasville Middle School.
McNally received his B.S. degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He served in the United States Navy and was on active duty from 1979 to 1985. He served in the Naval Reserves until 2001. He has two sons, Jarrod and Justin.
