Dr. Frances Ward, assistant professor in the journalism and mass communication
department at North Carolina and Agricultural Technical State University,
recently passed the Accreditation in Public Relations Examination administered
by the Universal Accreditation Board of the Public Relations Society
of America. |
The
two-day examination included an oral and a written portion. The designation Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) signifies a high professional level of experience and competence in the field of public relations. The accreditation is good for life but must be maintained through continuing education credits, professionalism and service. |
