N.C. A&T Employees Generously Exceed Giving Goal with $460K in Donations

GREENSBORO, N.C. (April 10, 2018) – When it comes to supporting North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in the 2017-18 fiscal year, Aggie employees have shown the university the money.

For the annual Faculty and Staff Combined Campaign, university employees have raised more than $460,000 combined – 120 percent of this year’s goal. This total shatters the University Employees Campaign (UEC) goal by 25 percent and nearly fulfills the State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC).

“The giving from our employees is amazing. They understand the importance of giving, and we can see how our investments into the university and our communities return phenomenal outcomes for us all,” said campaign co-chair LaShawndra White.

The 2017-18 Combined Campaign allows all N.C. A&T faculty, staff, administrators and retirees the opportunity to financially support the university and community. The UEC supports campus initiatives within academic departments, athletics teams, scholarships and more. The SECC supports more than 900 local, national and international organizations that provide services like disaster relief, cancer research and educational initiatives.

While the SECC campaign concluded in December, there is still time to give to the UEC. For additional information on giving to the UEC, visit the Faculty and Staff Combined Campaign page on the website. To give to the university’s annual fund, visit the Giving page.
