COAACH at N.C. A&T to Host Annual Caregiver Conference

COAACH Conference 2017Greensboro, N.C. (Oct. 26, 2017) - The Center for Outreach in Alzheimer’s, Aging and Community Health (COAACH) at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will host the Ninth annual Caregiver Education Conference, Saturday, Oct. 28 at 8 a.m., , at the Alumni Foundation Event Center located at 200 N. Benbow Road, Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Caregiver Education Conference assists caregivers who play a critical role in the life of a loved one. It is designed to provide innovative strategies and tools for persons impacted by chronic disease, dementia, family care partners and professional caregivers.

This year’s theme, “Bridging the Gap: New Perspectives in Caregiving,” will feature expert speakers, fitness activities, vendors, service providers and health screenings.  Each activity has been strategically designed to inform and equip caregivers with new approaches to better manage their responsibilities.
