N.C. A&T Board of Trustees to Meet Sept 15-16

The North Carolina A&T State University Board of Trustees will convene for its first regularly scheduled meeting of the 2016-17 academic year on Sept. 15-16, 2016 at the Alumni -Foundation Event Center, 200 N. Benbow Road, on the university’s campus.

During the meeting, N.C. A&T Student Government President, Jordan Greene will also be sworn in as an ex officio board member for the 2016-17 year.

The N.C. A&T Board of Trustees is comprised of 13 individuals, each serving a four-year term (except the ex-officio member). Those holding positions on the board include Dr. Bertram Walls, chairman; Tim Rice, vice chairman; and Donna James, secretary.

The trustees are tasked with promoting the sound development of the university and serves as advisor to the UNC Board of Governors on matters pertaining to the university and also serve as advisor to the chancellor concerning the management and development of the university.
