Aggie Summer Enrichment Camps at N.C. A&T Available for Area Youth

School is out and while many parents are wondering exactly how to keep their kids occupied, the Office of Continuing Education at North Carolina A&T State University is offering a summer-long solution – Aggie Enrichment Camps.

Enrichment camps offered through the Office of Continuing Education provide children of all ages the opportunity to explore and discover areas that may one day become their chosen field of study. The enrichment camps are designed for stimulation through various hands-on science, technology, engineering, artistic and math activities.

Campers have over 20 programs to choose from such as Amazing Science, Lego Robotics, All Things Seuss, Exploring Engineering, AutoCAD Fun, Paul Robeson Theatre, Lights Camera Action, When I Grow Up – Kids-n-Business, or Bedazzle Jewelry-Making as well as several academic camps including Creative Writing Camp, Summer Math Fundamentals and Algebra Made Easy. Many more exciting and explorative camps are also available with full descriptions online.

Each camp runs for one full week, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, through Aug. 5. The cost is $175 per student, which includes a nutritional lunch. Camp registration payment is due in full at the time of registration.

All camps are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. Register online or for more information, contact Carolyn Strachan or Pat White at 336-334-7810 or email cstrach@ncat.edu or whitep@ncat.edu.
