N.C. A&T MAKES TOP FIVE MOST AFFORDABLE ONLINE COLLEGES IN THE STATE

In a recent ranking report conducted by Affordable Colleges Online, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University was ranked No. 5 in North Carolina for most affordable online colleges.

“The university’s distance learning courses and program offer an alternative method for students to access our outstanding bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs,” said Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Joe B. Whitehead, Jr. “North Carolina A&T State University will continue to enhance access to educational opportunities for more students through e-learning opportunities.”

The university offers online bachelor’s degrees in agricultural education, business education, electronics technology, geomatics and occupational safety and health. A&T also offers online graduate programs in agricultural education, instructional technology, technology management and computer information technology. Certificate programs in family and consumer sciences and environmental health and safety are also available through the university’s distance learning courses and programs.

North Carolina A&T was previously ranked as No. 7 out of 35 colleges and universities in North Carolina for highest return on investment (ROI).   Affordable Colleges Online analyzed 192 institutions in North Carolina to compile their ranking report.

Affordable Colleges Online uses data from the National Center for Education Statistics, Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System, Payscale.com and the Carnegie Foundation to construct ranking lists on two-year and four-year colleges and universities.
