N.C. A&T HAS LAUNCHED “NCATCONNECT”, A FREE MOBILE APP

With the recent launch of the free mobile application, NCATConnect, North Carolina A&T State University students, alumni and friends connect to the university using an Apple or Android mobile device.

Since August, a university committee has been working with Blackboard Inc., a global leader in enterprise technology and innovative solutions that improve the experience of millions of students, to create the app.

“The committee includes representatives from all over campus because we needed to include information from a lot of different departments,” said Dr. Tracie O. Lewis, coordinator for distance learning in the Division of Information Technology (DoIT).

The app will provide information about university news, athletics, events and courses as well as access to a university directory, map, the Bluford Library and Blackboard. There will also be a link to access Alumni Affairs and campus emergency assistance.

Free downloads are available from iTunes and Google Play.
