A&T LITERATURE PROFESSOR PRESENTS PAPER IN TEXAS

Dr. Pauline Ada Uwakweh, assistant professor of literature in the Department of English, presented a paper at the 38th Annual African Literature Association Conference held in Dallas, Texas, April, 11–15. Her paper, “(Re)Constructing Masculinity and Femininity in African Novels of War: The Youth in Chimamanda Adichie's Half of a Yellow Sun and Goretti Kyomuhendo's Waiting: A Novel of Uganda at War,” evaluates the fictional representations of war and its impact on children.
