ASSOCIATE PROFESSSOR AND GRADUATE STUDENT TEAM UP TO PUBLISH ARTICLE
North Carolina A&T associate professor of chemistry, Zerihun Assefa and graduate student Carlos Crawford teamed up to write a scientific article that has been published in the American Chemical Science Journal, Inorganic Chemistry.
Assefa and Crawford worked in tandem with scientists from the department of Chemistry at the University of South Alabama to pen the article titled, “Synthesis, Structural, and Photoluminescence Studies of Gd(terpy)(H2O)(NO3)2M(CN)2 (M = Au, Ag) Complexes: Multiple Emissions from Intra- and Inter-molecular Excimers and Exciplexes .”
The article appeared in the Feb. 24 edition of the science journal. Inorganic Chemistry publishes fundamental studies in all phases of inorganic chemistry. It offers full-length articles and communications of immediate interest.
