AGRICULTURE SCHOLARS TO PRESENT RESEARCH

The School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences will present Undergraduate Research Scholars presentations on Tuesday, April 17, 1 p.m., in room A-16 C.H. Moore Agricultural Research Station at the corner of Lindsay and Beech Streets.

Ivy Smith will present her research from the family and consumer sciences department on “Functional Bread Developed by Partial Incorporation of Grape Pomace with Wheat Flour.”

From animal sciences, Vacques Hines will present, “Effects of Fungus Myceliated Grain Incubation Time on Broiler Performance and Health Attributions.”

Kelly Meadows will present research from the department of agribusiness, applied economics and agriscience education. Her project  is “Factors Contributing to Obesity in the Southern Black Belt Region of the United States.”

Also from family and consumer science, Alani Adkins will present, “Impact of Environmental Stresses on the Behavior of E. coli 0157:H7 in the Presence of Caffeine.”
