MUSIC INDUSTRY ENTREPRENEURSHIP WORKSHOP AND REJOICE GOSPEL SHOWCASE SET FOR MARCH 24

The North Carolina A&T State University School of Business and Economics has partnered with the broadcast voice of N.C. A&T, WNAA-FM, to present a one-day workshop about the music business.  The event will take place in the Memorial Union – Stalling Ballroom Saturday, March 24, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to learn about starting their own music business, protecting their product, branding and opportunities in the gospel music industry. The workshop is designed for current and aspiring music entrepreneurs such as songwriters, producers, musicians, promotion specialists, gospel music artists, DJs and others.

The workshop will also feature the Rejoice Gospel Showcase where attendees can receive some music training experience, showcase their talent, develop industry networks, receive feedback from industry professionals and have a chance to win a consultation with industry professionals, studio time, professional imaging package and exposure.

Tickets for the event are available at A&T’s ticket office. Tickets are $30 for the public, $10 for non-A&T students and free to A&T students.
