The North Carolina A&T State University department of history and honors program, are teaming up with the International Civil Rights Museum to host the annual Gibbs Lecture at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, at the museum in Downtown Greensboro.

This year’s lecture will be given by N.C. A&T history major Collis Crews and will be about his participation in a bus trip through the south that was a reenactment of the original Freedom Rides to honor a key component of Civil Rights Movement more than 50 years ago.

The lecture commemorates the birthday of N.C. A&T’s fourth president, Dr. Warmoth T. Gibbs. For more information about attending the event, call the International Civil Rights Center and Museum at (336) 274-9199.
