Remembering:  a Tribute to Our Students

This website was designed to honor the memories of our students who departed this life during the 2003-2004 academic school year. The Aggie family sends our deepest condolences to the families of those who have passed. We hope that the site serves as a reminder that you are not alone.

A Campus/Community Memorial Service for our students who are honored on this website was held at 5 p.m., Monday, March 22, in Harrison Auditorium. Please click here to view some of the photographs that were taken during the service.



Mr. Terrance P. McGrone
Terrance P. McGrone, a Freshman Graphic Communication Systems major, was the victim of an automobile accident on Highway 42 at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, May 1, 2004. His car reportedly hit a deer, and he was killed instantly.

Mr. Sean Vinson Murphy
Mr. Sean Vinson Murphy departed this life on Wednesday, January 21, 2004.

Funeral services for Mr. Murphy were held on Friday, January 31, 2004, at Bell-Yeager Free Will Baptist Church in Durham.

Daniel Clarence Bell III, affectionately known as "D.C.", departed this earthly life at 1 p.m., January 3, 2004, at High Point Regional Hospital. He was hospitalized for less than 36 hours.

A North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University student and Army Reserve Member was killed July 21, 2003 in Iraq. Specialist Mark Anthony Bibby of Willard, N.C., was a member of the Army Reserves 422nd Civil Affairs Battalion from Greensboro.

Aggies Remember Herbert Lee Dixon, IIIMr. Herbert Lee Dixon, III
According to reports from Johnston County Sheriff's Department, a North Carolina A&T State University student was killed on Saturday, March 13, outside Benson, NC. Herbert Lee Dixon, III, a 20-year-old sophomore, was one of three people shot at the D&L Night Club at 2:30 a.m. Dixon was the only fatality. The Johnston County Sheriff's Department has arrested a Goldsboro man as the suspect in the shooting.

A North Carolina A&T State University coed died in Kumasi, Ghana, Tuesday, March 16. Autopsy reports are not available for 21-year-old Julia Antares Scott of Winston-Salem. The junior honor student was majoring in mechanical engineering.
