Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will have a groundbreaking
ceremony for its new School of Education
Building, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the new building site on the corner of Benbow
Road and Bluford Street . The education building will be called the James C.
Renick School of Education. Renick has served as chancellor of N.C. A&T since
1999.
This event is free and open to the public. If you plan to attend, call (336)
334-7175. The groundbreaking ceremony is being held in conjunction with American
Education Week Nov. 6 -14.
The theme for the week is “A Strong America Starts With Great Public Schools.” The
activities are as follows:
