Commemorative MLK Program featuring Dr. Malveaux,

Dr. Julianne Malveaux will be the keynote speaker for the 2016 Commemorative MLK Program co-sponsored by N.C. A&T and UNCG, on Thursday, Jan. 21. Malveau is President Emerita of Bennett College for Women as well as an economist, author and commentator.  This year’s theme is, “From Drums to Hashtag: The Generational Conversation on Justice.”
  •  A faculty & staff reception with Dr. Malveaux will be from 3 – 4 p.m. at UNCG (location TBA.) This event is free. 
  • The official commemorative program, featuring Dr. Malveaux, begins at 7 p.m. at N.C. A&T’s Harrison Auditorium. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. This event includes free admission and parking and is open to the public.
