Interprofessional Education Training for Educators

This training will cover the values and ethics for interprofessional practice. The learner will be able to address improvements of patient outcomes, health care quality and cost utilizing interprofessional competencies for all health professionals.

The learner will understand and apply IPE core competencies for interprofessional practice and recognize the process of educating teams and integrating advanced practice providers in the clinical practice environment.

The training is sponsored by the School of Nursing and the Department of Sociology and Social Work.

It will be held Friday, May 1, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (check-in at 9:30 a.m.), at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, 1123 N. Church St. There is no charge for N.C. A&T faculty. The general registration fee is $50.

The training will be conducted by the Greensboro AHEC. Credits: 3.5 Contact Hours; 0.35 CEUs.
