College of Engineering Annual Senior Design Expo

The College of Engineering at N.C. A&T will host its Second Annual Senior Design Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, on campus in the Alumni Event Center. During the exhibition, undergraduate students will showcase their Senior Capstone Design projects, which demonstrate their abilities to work effectively as teams in engineering innovative solutions using cutting edge technologies.

Over fifty projects will be on display. One of the exhibits will feature a project for the Michelin Research Center in Greenville, SC that examines energy efficiency and renewable energy systems. Another exhibit will show the results of feasibility studies of various photovoltaic solar energy designs, alternative HVAC and lighting systems developed by student teams in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering.

During the Senior Design Expo, students will be on hand to answer questions about their projects.

This event is free and open to the public.
