Black Nativity Dates Set

The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at North Carolina A&T State University will present its annual production of Langston Hughes’ “Black Nativity,” Nov. 29-Dec. 2.

There will be six performances of the show. The performances are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday will brings two shows each day at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are free to A&T students with an Aggie One card, $15 to the general public and $10 to senior citizens and non-A&T students. Group rates are available to groups of 15 or more.

“Black Nativity” is a high-energy gospel musical that chronicles the birth of Christ, using vibrant songs and dance of praise and worship. Storytellers guide the audience through the words of the Holy Scripture allowing the audience to fully experience this biblical re-telling.
