XP Support Ends

Is your computer running Windows XP? Microsoft will not provide security updates or technical support after April 8, 2014.   Vendors  will also stop supporting hardware and software compatible with Windows XP.  Without security updates, your computer will be vulnerable to viruses and other malicious software and your data could be compromised. Students with Windows XP must upgrade or purchase computers with either Windows 7 or Windows 8 which are both supported by Microsoft.  If you have XP and have not borrowed the maximum on your Federal Direct Student loan for the 2013-2014 academic year, you may check with the Office of Student Financial Aid to determine if you are eligible for additional loan assistance.   Computers not upgraded by April 8, 2014 will be quarantined and unable to access campus computing resources. Help protect the University’s network, systems, applications, and data resources by migrating to Windows 7 or Windows 8 before April 8, 2014.
