TuitionPay Monthly Payment Plan

The TuitionPay Monthly Payment Plan is an interest-free alternative to paying your college expenses in one lump sum. TuitionPay offers flexible monthly payment plans to students at North Carolina A&T State University.  Payment plans must be set up properly to include any financial assistance in order to secure one’s classes and to ensure the full payment of tuition, fees, housing, and meal plan charges by the end of the given semester.

TuitionPay has an interactive payment plan worksheet to better assist you with setting up your payment plan properly.  The cost of tuition and fees has been provided for you to view for further information.  PLEASE NOTE: Distance learning (online) courses are assessed a separate charge when combined with on campus courses.

Enrollment for the TuitionPay payment plan begins on June 1 for the Fall 2012 semester.  The first payment is due upon enrollment in addition to the one-time, non-refundable, enrollment fee.

Monthly Payment Amounts

The amount of your monthly payments depends on the balance of your contract.  TuitionPay takes the balance owed to the University and divides it evenly between the number of months within the plan.  For instance, a student enrolled in a 5 Month Payment Plan that has a $500 balance would pay $100 per month for 5 months.

Payment Plan Important Facts

Late fees are assessed and collected by TuitionPay for payments received after the 1st of each month. Your contract will be terminated after two missed payments.  At this point, the balance of your contract should be made directly to the University and you will no longer be able to use the TuitionPay service.

  • Payments to TuitionPay are disbursed to the University during the following month after your payment has processed. (example: A payment made December 1st is not received by the University until January 5th).
  • TuitionPay will assess a convenience fee of approximately 2-3.5% if you choose to submit a payment via debit or credit card. Payments can be made via electronic check and are not assessed a convenience fee. TutionPay does NOT accept VISA debit/credit cards.
  • You may cancel your TuitionPay contract without penalty by contacting the Treasurer’s Office as long as your balance to the university has been satisfied.
  • Please be advised that you will receive a electronic billing statement (E-Bill) from the University even if you have a payment plan with TuitionPay.
  • If for any reason your TuitionPay payment plan contract for the current semester is cancelled, discontinued or terminated it is the responsibility of the student to remit the remaining balance to the University.
