Meal Plans Are For Everyone
All freshmen living in University Residence Halls, (Aggie Suites, Pride,Alex Haley, Aggie Villages, Cooper, Barbee, Curtis, Holland, Morrison, Morrow and Vanstory Hall) are required to purchase a meal plan. Freshmen are required to purchase Meal Plan A, B or U. A meal plan will be automatically assigned and charged to your tuition, fees, room and board bill should you not select another option before the 1st day of classes. Beginning Fall 2013, meal plans can be changed each semester. All changes must be made on or before the 1st day of classes of each semester.

Meal Plans Subject to N.C. Sales Tax
The State of North Carolina recently made taxable many items that were previously excluded from sales tax, including food sold to students at higher education institutions. These changes will take effect January 1, 2014.
Your spring semester bill from the University Treasurer’s Office will now include a “ N.C. sales tax surcharge”, in addition to your selected meal plan cost.

Sales Tax will be charged at the point of sale for declining balances and dining dollars.
