Research Interests

Mountain Meteorology, Hurricane and Typhoon Dynamics, Severe Local Storms & Tornadoes, Moist Convection, and Gravity Waves.

Awards and Honors

Dr. Lin is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Department of Environmental & Energy Systems, and the coordinator for Atmospheric Science programs at NC A&T State University.  He has served as the Distinguished Scientist for the NOAA ISET Center from 2008 - 2012.  His research area is Atmospheric Science.
