Department of Built Environment
Dear Prospective Students and Visitors:
I welcome this opportunity to introduce you to the outstanding program areas of Construction Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Geomatics. The department offers three degree programs at the undergraduate level, one shared masters degree program and a PHD consortium program with Indiana State University. The Bachelor of Science degree programs offered by the department are Construction Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Geomatics. All of our degree programs in the Department of Built Environment have 80% to 90% placement of its graduates. The BS degree in Construction Management is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) and the BS degree in Environmental Health and Safety is accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE). Retail clothing entrepreneur and TV personality Daymond John of ABC’s wildly popular “Shark Tank” series will kick off The Harold L. Martin Sr. Chancellor’s Speaker Series at N.C. A&T State University with a talk at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 27, in Harrison Auditorium.
Retired corporate affairs and business executive Hilda Pinnix-Ragland is the keynote speaker for commencement exercises for The Graduate College at N.C. A&T State University.
All students are encouraged to attend a campus safety forum set for Friday, 4 p.m., in Harrison Auditorium on the N.C. A&T campus.
