Department of Built Environment

Dear Prospective Students and Visitors:

I welcome this opportunity to introduce you to the outstanding program areas of Construction Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Geomatics. The department offers three degree programs at the undergraduate level, one shared masters degree program and a PHD consortium program with Indiana State University. The Bachelor of Science degree programs offered by the department are Construction Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Geomatics.  All of our degree programs in the Department of Built Environment have 80% to 90% placement of its graduates. The BS degree in Construction Management is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) and the BS degree in Environmental Health and Safety is accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE).  Please review our guide for public information regarding Construction Management (CM).

Sarin Appointed Interim Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Graduate College Dean Sanjiv Sarin, Ph.D., has been appointed interim vice chancellor for research and economic development. The appointment was effective April 17, 2018.
