Student Development

Our elite Center for Student Development, housed within the College of Engineering, offers a wide range of support services for students from supplemental instruction to a unique College of Engineering Toastmasters Club and so forth.

City of Greensboro

The surrounding city of Greensboro is an attractive place for undergraduate and graduate students. There are five colleges and universities offering undergraduate and graduate degrees and one community college.

Campuss Life

Our dedicated Student Ambassadors help incoming students and their families with questions and provide guided tours of our engineering facilities.

The city is of a substantial population (269,666) so that there are unlimited opportunities for recreation and festivities—from beautiful national and local parks to important athletic competitions and outstanding concerts to a wide, eclectic array of shops and restaurants there are plenty of opportunities for rest and relaxation after hard days of studying and research.

World Renowned Motivational Speaker Eric Thomas Set to Inspire N.C. A&T Students for the Upcoming Year

As part of the 2017-18 Welcome Week activities, the Division of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will host Dr. Eric “ET” Thomas, at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 17, in Harrison Auditorium.

N.C. A&T Board of Trustees to Hold Special Meeting Aug. 14

A special called meeting of the N.C. AT State University Board of Trustees is scheduled to be held at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 14, in the Dowdy Building, conference room 424-A.

N.C. A&T, UNCG selected as National Science Foundation I-Corps Site

N.C. A&T State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro have been awarded a five-year, $500,000 grant by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to establish Greensboro as an Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Site.
