Research Interest

The primary research interests of our laboratory are in the area of tissue regeneration, wound healing and targeted drug delivery with projects that address the biocompatibility and design of scaffolds, nano-micro encapsulates, hydrogels, nanofibers. The laboratory’s mission is to apply engineering principles to develop technologies that will improve the tissue healing, drug toxicity testing, and improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
