Alumnus Brandon Murphy Joins NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Following several internships with NASA, COE alumnus Brandon Murphy has started his career in NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His cyber security group hunts for threats to the laboratory's systems and develops defenses against them. Murphy fosters many connections to the N.C. A&T Computer Science Department, and looks forward to future Aggies coming to NASA. JPL management will be returning to campus to meet and interview engineering students for internships and other opportunities.
Ndoh named UNC School of Medicine’s Associate Dean for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer
Uduak Ndoh, a NC A&T alumni, has been named the School of Medicine’s associate dean for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. He comes to UNC from Duke, where he worked as the director of Information Technology at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. Ndoh will officially begin the new role on May 1. View Article
Two African American Women Named Deans at Southern Universities
Stephanie G. Adams was named dean of the Frank Batten College of Engineering and Technology at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She will be the first woman to hold the post. Dr. Adams has been serving as a professor and chair of the department of engineering education at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. View Article
