North Carolina Science Festival

The College of Engineering's E-Academy will present several activities as part of the annual North Carolina Science Festival in April. The statewide multi-day celebration showcasing science and technology runs from April 10-26. The annual festival engages a wide range of public audiences through hands-on activities, science talks, lab tours, nature experiments, exhibits and performances. Engineering faculty members will present exciting experiments for middle and high school students throughout the festival. Classes from several Guilford County Schools have been invited to attend.

About the E-Academy
The E-Academy’s mission is to create, promote and sustain an engineering-oriented academic culture to increase the number of students pursuing engineering degrees. E-Academy activities include outreach to school and community based organizations. NC-LSAMP students serve as facilitators for E-Academy outreach activities to local schools.
