Mr. Rhee is an entrepreneur, investor and operator. As both CEO and investment firm founder, Mr. Rhee has generated market-leading returns by creating bespoke capital and operational solutions through the contemporaneous application of algorithmic, technologic and cultural change. He has a uniquely diverse network and knowledge base spanning the private equity, retail/consumer, venture and media/technology communities. At Ashley Stewart, as Chairman and CEO, Mr. Rhee has authored and executed upon an innovative complement of CRM, digital and organizational changes premised upon a values-based, social commerce paradigm. FirePine Group, the investment firm he founded in 2009, has successfully fueled impactful change in multiple enterprises, including Ashley Stewart.

He is a regional winner of the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the recipient of one of five 2016 Power Player Awards granted by the National Retail Federation. In 2017, he joined the board of the National Retail Federation.

Mr. Rhee received his AB with honors from Harvard College and his JD with honors from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. He is a former high school teacher.


zollarPATRICIA MILLER ZOLLAR I Managing Director, Neuberger Berman

Ms. Zollar is a Managing Director of Neuberger Berman, an independent asset management firm with over $250bn of assets under management. She is a Partner within Neuberger Berman Alternatives and responsible for managing a bespoke Co-Investment Separate Account and leading the NorthBound Emerging Managers Private Equity Fund. She is a member of the Co-Investment, Private Investment Portfolios, and NorthBound Investment Committees. Before the management buyout of Neuberger, Ms. Zollar co-headed and co-founded the Lehman Brothers’ Partnership Solutions Group, an innovative Wall Street business that was chronicled in a case study at the Harvard Business School. Earlier in Ms. Zollar’s career she was a vice president at Goldman Sachs and a Certified Public Accountant at Deloitte & Touche. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her B.S., with highest distinction, from North Carolina A&T State University, where she formerly served as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and which conferred her an honorary Doctorate degree.

Ms. Zollar has been recognized by many organizations for her personal & business accomplishments, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. She has served on the boards of several educational, cultural and community organizations, and currently serves on the executive board of The Apollo Theater and the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), the largest network of diverse-owned private equity firms. In addition, she is a member of the Economic Club of New York and the Executive Leadership Council.
