Alumni Mentoring Program (AMP)

The purposes of the Alumni Mentoring Program (AMP) is to equip students with necessary skills to compete and succeed in the complex global marketplace and to create learning opportunities for students that reach beyond the classroom. The program is a yearlong commitment where each mentor is paired with at least one student mentee.

Participation requires a minimum of one monthly meeting with the mentee, face-to-face or technology-based,  and participation in semiannual forums. AMP mentors are also required to complete a disclosure form, participate in a matching survey, and complete an annual evaluation of the program.

We believe the program will provide the mentors with:

  • the satisfaction of assisting and emerging professional with the development of his/her potential.
  • the satisfaction of helping to change a young person's life.
  • the opportunity to help build a strong workforce.
  • the opportunity to help mold tomorrow's leaders.
